A game I like.

Here is the Quiltie.



I used scraps of polycotton, bead-embroidered silk and organdie for the background then embellised with lace, motifs and more beads. Hand stitching is running stitch and bullion knots.

I used a photograph of a flower and Epson iron-on transfer paper. Unfortunately the flower did not have enough definition - bad choice of photograph probably. I need more practice with this technique.
The Quiltie is wadded and quilted then backed with cotton fabric.

This is my very first blog entry and it was started in order to enter the 2cre8art challenge for February. I'm hoping this will give me a kickstart into creative work at a time of family ill health which has taken away a lot of my concentration.
